Introducing choanoflagellates to fellow colleagues in conferences
From ChoanoWiki
Many workshop participants may have connections to other research fields. For me with an interest in studying Ca2+ and receptor signaling pathways, I have learned a lot from the seminars and poster presentations at the workshop. I am now at the Gordon Research Conference on Mechanism of Membrane Transport held in Maine, USA. I will try to introduce what I have learned at the workshop to other scientists I meet with during the conference. Not a surprise - many people know Nicole's work already. But we certainly want more and more people to become interested in choanoflagellates!
Xinjiang, to help address this I've put a stub article Why study choanoflagellates? on the main page. So far I've just put a list of a few points up there. We should flesh this out into an article.--Mark J Dayel 23:21, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
